As the title states,
I have a pendant fixture I just recently bought from a fellow reefer, but didn't do my homework and found out when we met up that the fixture was only 15 inches long. I needed a 24 inch fixture. After some research, I found out that Reef Brite actually makes hybrid fixture with a metal halide pendant. Vertex 250W Electronic Ballast included. Everything works, I tested it myself. Plug and Play. Comes with Radium 20k bulb and a few extra used bulbs. Retail: $427.49. Asking what I paid for it $250.

mogul base lamps have the UV glass. Are you referring to the splash guard that is not shown in the picture?

I was under the impression they all required uv glass or they'd burn the corals? Pm me if I'm wrong because I'm looking for a mh hybrid pendant style but if I'm being fed wrong info they I need to be better informed!

Mogul base bulbs do not need an extra uv protective glass.
Only double ended MHs need the uv glass.

Yeah like Eric and James was saying, Single ended or Mogul based MH don't need extra UV glass, opposed to the Double ended MH.
