Interested, but don't really know why I need a frag tank. Just want one for some reason. Can you set these up to run off your main tank's water, or is that a bad idea?

Many people choose to plumb their existing tank to frag tanks but for my personal preference I do not. If your main display tank for some reason started to go south you could use your frag tank as a holding tank for your corals. I just like to keep some stuff separate from one another and not put all your eggs in one basket if you know what I mean.
