idk about small fish, but i have caught mine eating my snails and my Sand Sifting Starfish.

Mine is cool, well fed, doesn't harm anything. I guess be cautious just like with any crab. Someone's gotta want him either for a sump or in a large tank or something. They sell them at Lfs, someone's gotta want him

Maybe keep him in the sump as a food source for harlequin shrimp or something. It's kind of f-ed up but oh well, circle of life
