As regretful as it is, I have to sell this dream setup of mine. Bought it about a few weeks ago and wife complain and did not approved to let me set it up in the dining room. So here's what for sale:

240 Gallon Visio glass (8' x 2' x 2') with center overflow (standard bracing). Custom Natural Oak cabinets hand made by Home Oceans that are VERY nice ($2500 for these cabinets). Canopy is 16" tall so you can put any lighting you could possibly want in there. Also, included is two huge sump and all the plumbing and bulkheads. The condition of the tank, stand and canopy is in great shape, no scratches and looks like brand new. Bought it for $2000, but wife is complaining and have to sell it a.s.a.p. I am asking $1500 firm. This setup is indeed beautiful and you have to see it with your own eyes to appreciate how beautiful this tank is.

She loves the tank, but unfortunately it's just way too big for the dining room.

Daniel, sorry I decided to sell the tank now and probably go something smaller like around 135 gallon. Thanks for your offer.

How's the condition of your tank? Any scratches? If not, maybe you can try to get a nice custom stand and canopy and we could do a trade.

It's in great shape, no scratches. I'll get some estimates on some custom stands and canopys, but what kind of stand+canopy are you looking for? Such as height of stand, also the height of the canopy, if i can find something that isn't going to cost me more to get them built then the total value that you're looking for your setup maybe we can work a trade.

Sounds good. I am looking for something very similar to my 240. Oak wood and the stain something familiar to my setup. This could work.

Well, got some bad news, after further discussing it with my wife, i won't be able to get the stand and canopy made. Here's the story, when i purchased the tank by itself my original plan was to have a custom stand and canopy made for it, but i promised my wife i wouldn't be doing it for another 5-6 months from now sense my last tank i spent quite an amount of money, the only reason i sold that one was because our new born son. I tried showing her the tank you are offering to trade but she isn't letting me take back on the deal her and i originally had. I really appreciate the offer and would of loved to do it, hell i would of done it in a heart beat if i was in the right situation. I'm sure you won't have a problem selling it as it's a great deal and very nice, maybe if you still have it in another 5 months or so when i go to get a stand and canopy made we can talk then :proud: Or maybe if you are willing to let the tank go by itself (because it would be doing exactly the same thing my 130 gallons doing which is sitting in the garage for awhile) and sell the stand and canopy together to someone else. Good luck with the sale!
