Re-posting because I didn't have a picture before and it got deleted... well here is the PBT when I first got it over a year ago (I don't have a more recent picture on me), but I assure you he is fat and healthy. If you text me, I'll get a more recent picture for you tonight.
> Powder Blue Tang: $50; about 5 1/2 inches now and thick. I haven't added any fish after him, so I don't know how he treats newcomers, but isn't really a bully to the other tank residents. Will occasionally chase if another algae eater is grazing on a rock that he's grazing on, but not for long.
Mind you, he isn't your typical PBT... I've quarantined and treated ALL of my fish (they went through a copper/prazipro treatment in a QT before going into my display tank). Of course this doesn't matter much if your tank has ich or has been exposed to ich. All I can say is this is one of the healthiest PBT's you'll find.
I'm located in Mission Viejo (south Orange County). Fish pick up will be this Saturday at or after 11am... which is convenient for any of you going to the sidewalk sale for Marine Depot.
Please PM or text me (949-326-3813) your name and tank profile/size/other inhabitants. I'm trying to find a suitable home for him, probably a tank that is no less than 72 inches long unless you have deep dimensions, since he loves to swim.
