Just had Dave from nanobox repaint and changed to a hanging kit mod. Like new. comes with hanging kit. Great light just don't have a tank to set it up on right now. $300

Nah. NanoBox has the best color rendition, but due to the lack of any optics or reflectors, they don't have the best PAR a higher depths.

I just added the diffusion lens to my Kessil, and it truly has the best shimmer of all lights.

Kessils are more versatile because you can combine them to light bigger tanks if you ever decide to upgrade. Unfortunately, the NanoBox is just what it is...a nano light. You'll be hard pressed lighting anything but a nano tank with a NanoBox. They're not modular in that sense. And they were designed for shallower tanks. They do have the best color rendition on the market though because they used neutral and warm whites. One nanobox will look better than two kessils. It really comes down to personal preference.
