Hi hate to sell but he has to go..very healthy and eats like a pig anything you give him only has a small scared on side from fighting or from hitting a rock but dose not bodes him very good looking fish had him since quarter size he is about 3 to 3.5 inches...

140 Is a fair price, on our forum they usually go for about 100 but 140 for Red Sea fish isn't a bad price iv sold a purple on here for that.

Where else are purple tangs found if not Red Sea? I'm just a little confused by your post. It sounds like there are other purple tangs for $100 on this forum but this one is more expensive because its from Red Sea.

As far as I know they are only from there. What im saying is for a fish from there it's not such a far fetched price. Plus why ruin the guys thread? He's more than allowed to try and get what he wants for it without people bashing is price point publicly.

Agree. No need to bash people. Market usually does a nice job dictating prices. But I was mostly confused by the origin of purple tangs. Certainly not bashing anyone.
