Found a second rainbow yesterday. I have a nem cannon on it today to get it off the rocks. $20 Paypal takes it (cash doesn't work, I don't get to keep it). Basically covers costs for the sponges, PVC and the nem cup, haha! When it comes out of the cannon, I will place it in the nem cup with a piece of rubble that it will attach to. Will come in a tupper attached to the rubble. Tank has no aiptasia and currently in flux treatment, so no algae to carry over.

I'm running a lot of whites right now, so the nem isn't as sparkly as usual. See below the other half of the split that is staying:

Here's that same nem when it was in my Evo (currently in my 40L) under a heavy blue spectrum--it also bubbled up a lot more in the cup:

And this is her when she first was moved over to the 40L and placed on a rock in stronger flow:

Moved up to the top of the rock, got a lot of flow, stretched out, got really big and this is her first split in this tank (she split in that nem cup a few months back).

PM if interested. Pickup in Irvine near Spectrum. Thanks!

Nem is ready! I'd take a photo under blues, but I don't want to mess with my light schedule. PM me to coordinate later. There will be more splits, so I'll post them as I get them. My tank gets fed heavy, so these guys grow.

Have you had success with keeping the Nemo in these cups?

I was planning on getting some to keep them, but was worried they’d just walk right out

Thanks

For me they've stayed in the cup with a rock until they split. Once they split, one half takes a walk. Actually super easy to grab them when they split this way, because if you catch them when they're on the outside of the cup, it's just a push of the finger against their foot and off into a tupper!
