Hi
I have a reef octopus protein skimmer for sale, as I don't have time for my tank anymore and I'm converting it to freshwater.
Here's what's 'wrong' with it. The plastic has crack marks on the inside of the plastic. It does not affect the function of the skimmer whatsoever. It's the result of the saltwater reacting to the plastic over long periods of time. If you touch the surface inside or out, it is smooth, no leaks, nothing. You can come check it out, I'll run it in water etc if you'd like and you'll see that it's perfectly fine, and if you are still iffy and back out, no problem.
That being said, I know people are going to be put off by this, so I'm selling the skimmer for super cheap. Asking $100 or best reasonable offer which includes everything. Located in Arcadia, CA.
Thank you for your time, and feel free to message me if you have any questions.

ps. I have about 75lbs of live sand (mostly dry from sitting in the tank though) for sale as well.
