Selling my SWC Xtreme 230 Cone Protein Skimmer. This is a large skimmer for those with a big tank, but it has a much smaller footprint compared to lesser skimmers. Rated for tanks from 200 to 400 gallons. I've been using this on my heavily loaded 180g + 30g frag tank.
Unlike smaller models from SWC this model uses the Askoll 1500 pump similar to ATB and BK models and has a custom volute/housing. This skimmer is dead silent. Adjustments are made to both water height and air intake for fine tuning. Footprint is 12x10 and 25" tall.
Included with the skimmer is an Avast Marine Swabbie motorized neck cleaner (paid $150) and an overflow float switch (attaches to your controller).
Below are pictures when new. I just took it out of my sump and will take pictures when its cleaned up tomorrow, but it is in really good condition.
