LOL, thats pretty sad, im telling you, those events make the prices go up, not down...

Keep in mind guys that vendors did have to pay for the tables, overhead labor and had to put a lot of time and effort setting up and cleaning up.... so I totally understand why their prices are much higher compared to someone like me who only want to clear my frag rack so I can turn off the light over it :)

Anyhow, the pack is pending pickup for now.

I think it's just greed to be honest, go to any other expo and you find discounts left and right, show specials, giveaways, etc. etc. For some reason aquarium expos are the only ones I have been to that offer no such discounts, they assume you don't know anything about coral and when you ask for the price if isn't written on the glass already, 9 times out of 10 the price is sky high. I have been to gun shows, RC expos, automotive expos, camper expos, anime conventions, all of which offer discounts you wouldn't otherwise find.

There are exceptions, but not many.
