Looking to upgrade my fuge light. I remember reading about a light fixture that home depot sell that works great with a refugium. Can somebody guide me in the right direction. My fuge is about a 30 gallon btw. Thanks

Mike,..the new tank that i just set up,..i will be running without a fuge.

I have a jbj 50 watt one bulb fixture at 56k. I have absolutely ridiculous chaeto growth with this thing. The **** thing is growing up the walls of my sump

and I am selling it

The bulb you are thinking of is a 65w Compact Fluorescent fixture that is meant for outdoor lighting. I believe it is made by LIGHTS OF AMERICA

it is the LOA floodlight fixture @6500k. They also have the indoor lamps in the ~2700k range but are not suitable.
