Fundraising and Auction for COVID-19 Cause! Bid for a good cause!

Thank you both @EyeReef and @djrice69 for allowing me to do this fund raise for a cause. I started a post on my original thread for the Rose Millie for sale, and just thought I would do something more beneficial and meaningful to do a small little fund raise to buy masks and giving to our local hospital and first responders.

I am an essential employee and doing 12 hours shift, so I will be a just copy and paste from my previous post to save a few typing time. Please see my original message from last night.

This thread has been a very interesting thread so far, and I like to go with a different route. I would ask if both of the Admin and Mod allow me to do something more beneficial to help out the needed others. I would like to do some funds raise and ALL of the proceeds will be donated or to buy medical masks to give out to hospitals or first responders, during this COVID-19 crisis. We can do a bit of our parts from this small reefing community to help out, on whatever we can.

I would like to put together a package and would also welcome anyone else, whom would to join in. This will be an auction and the highest bidder will win. Once again, this is a fundraising to help buying masks for the first responders and I will welcome any feedbacks.

I would only ask to refrain any negative comments and please do not participate if you do not wish to join in.

18 - frag one Neon Green Birdsnest is about size of a quarter/frag 2 Neon Green Birdsnest is a mini colony size about golf ball size/ also a bubblegum digitata - decent size multi branch frag (Duraace9sp in orange)

I will wait for others reefers to join in or would like to participate and see how many different sps for this hoping mega one time shop package auction deal. Then you folks suggest the starting auction price. When to begins and ends? Any others suggestions, I am more than happy to listen.

@EyeReef Admin and @djrice69 Mod; if you both do not allow, please feel free to completely remove this whole thread off.

This auction will be a full package of corals from the above thread post and will not be separated. The winner with the highest bid will win all. I understood well it is a tough time and many ppl are out of jobs, right now. Therefore, I will start off for the starting price of $200 and each bid will be an increment of $5 or do what can do to open up your heart.

I would like to run this auction for about 2 weeks from today and will be ended by Saturday, 04-18-20. The winner with the highest bid take homes. My wify is a CCP-19 freak, and she will not be a happy camper with any visitor coming into our home. Pick up will be in Signal Hill out side of my hood only. Please do understand!

If there is (are) reefer would like to donate to the pack above. Please add it to the list and do yourself a favor to copy and paste the update list of corals to the next posting. The winner is also responsible and coordinate the pick up from that reefer, but not at my hood.

Just a suggestion as a bidder: pick up should be at once in one place. I don’t think many bidders will be willing to drive all over the place to pick up the corals.

I agree. We need to figure out a mutual meeting place or two for the bidder to collect their corals.

My question is where are you going to find the mask and PPE. That the hospital need ?
Finding N95 mask 😷 right now it’s more difficult than finding a WH FRAG FOR $50 !!!
I have few friends and family member on the front line right now and some had been infected by the 🦠 because they cannot find some PPE( N95)

I got two boxes 10 pcs each of 3m N95 on line for $480 and I give them away already if you can find some let me know I can either put some cash or corals
I can get more mask but the prices are crazy ridiculous I wish I have a ,”$1,000,000,000 to buy all the equipment that they need but in this case not even money 💰 can’t help much if you can’t get them

We are all know that N95 masks is nearly difficult to get your hands on. I can find these masks at a local nail supply store in OC area.

This kind of mask that I can find at a few local nail supply stores in OC area, where I have purchased for nearly 1k pieces for my essential staffs to use. Any masks would help at this time. Even these-masks, they will come and go rather quickly.

For #11 & #12 there’s a type-o it’s just one frag of the Koji Wada Pink Nep.

N95 has been pretty much been non-existence here in the states since shit hit the fan in China. These are the next best solution.
