So recently, I decided to add a GFCI outlet adapter to my aquarium because the outlet I use doesn't have that and I thought it would be safer.
I then added the ground probe (which I had been using before with success) and everything shut off. It didn't take to to determine that the grounding plug was causing the GFCI to trip.
I removed the ground probe. The problem then became, I was getting shocked when working on the tank. So, I ended up removing the GFCI outlet adapter and just going with the ground probe and I was no longer getting shocked.
Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?
