What's with this new trend of selling hellfire/DS torches instead of gold torches people trying to sell...I keep getting offers for torches looking like the first pic instead of the 2nd one... IMG_20200825_103754.jpg imagejpeg_0_20191017_130948.jpg

Aren't they two different types of torches altogether?

I think dragon soul is split color with green mouth, gold torch is solid gold with blue tips under all blue led.

So you're telling me all the videos and the real gold torches I've seen in stores in person that were all yellow not just half way... were Photoshoped?

That kind of what I was thinking. I’ve seen gold torches under 10k halide. They’re pretty obvious I’d say.

If that is what you're looking for, stop looking in $150-200 threads.. you won't find it there.
You're just wasting peoples' time lowballing and saying it's not gold enough for you.
That's like going to a KIA dealership wanting to buy a Ferrari but saying you're only willing to spend $20,000

What @Smite said. What you posted are two different torches with the second one looking more like an aussie piece. I was just saying the bottom pic was probably cranked up to show more yellow/gold. But big price differences in the two.

I totally agree with what you say but that Kia dealership wasn't advertising coming and get a Ferrari for 20k in the first place either...this wasn't a jab at you in particular and I apologise for using your picture...it's just you're not the only one advertising a Ferrari for the price of a Kia...

It's not lowballing if its 25 bucks lower per torch for 2 remaining torches that you have left. It's called negotiating and since you like cars so much...I'm sorry buddy but this is not Carmax

So you offered him less, then used his picture to prove a point. LOL I'd be upset as well. Not good form sir.

You want an Aussie Gold torch. The reason you see the trend is everyone is becoming a garage star millionaire with torch corals from Indo. They are obviously not rare LOL just prices have gone up along with shipping so it is what it is.

@pa1ntbru5h is a good guy with quality stuff. He's what I would call an upper tier reefer, really knows his shiet. I'd rather pay more with him. I don't think his prices are unreasonable compared to others.

I never said anything about him or a price issue and I apologized for using his picture when he felt like this was a personal attack to him. Again if you look at my post there is no mention of who or at what price. He was the one that felt attacked and brought up the "lowballing" point. I had no intention of attacking anyone in particular, just wanted to find a yellow gold torch. If he took it personally with out being mentioned anywhere, that's his problem. Him being an amazing person or a seller has nothing to do with this thread. Also be real guys...all you sellers out here, you never get an offer for something you post? It's ALWAYS sold for the exact price that you listed it for?

Back to the OP, I'm guessing you posted a want to buy post if people are offering you torches? If so specify Aussie gold torch, that is what you want.

Like anything named in this hobby you gotta be careful with names. if you're paying top dollar and expect to frag and recoup costs down the road you'll want to buy from a reputable source.

I feel like I see posts of peeps feeling like they got burned on named Indo torches frequently. To me the differences are too subtle for the price increase. If you gotta have two pieces next to one another with a trained eye then who cares. Buy the cheap one :)

Aussie gold wins hands down for me

Actually I usually pay the asking price. Except with cars. Longo Toyota hates me. In fact, I got a good deal on a skimmer last week and kicked the guy a couple extra bucks. 5% to be exact. I know I could have knocked off a few bucks from a light I bought recently. But it was a decent price and convenient so less hassle made it worth it. I was in business for years and whenever someone tried to bargain me down I explained the bid was the bid. Not saying I won't negotiate in the future, lol.

If not you might want to check out asd hg or 24k hg if u want indo. Nothing else will be more gold than what ive mentioned from indo, unless the divers find a new indo gold torch they havent found.
