Found this hanging out on one of my zoa frags. Does anyone know what type of nudi this is and whether it's good or bad? It's very tiny...about 2-3mm.

+1 Most nudis are very specific feeders and don't travel far from their food, so if you found it on some zoas, it was probably eating them. Check your zoas for more, because where there is one, there are likely a lot more.

Yeah I forgot to mention that but so true... there are likely more and a good chance that there could be eggs as well. Your best bet would be to examine them every day and do them every couple of days until your confident they're gone in case you have eggs that hatch. The coral dip won't kill the eggs before they're hatched but it will kill the nudis. And keep a very close eye on all your zoas for the next while.

Oh darn....yes I noticed some of my zoas frags are not opening like they usually do. How do I get rid of them if there are more eggs or babies in the tank? This little guy I sucked up with the bulb feeder. Now I'm worried :( any medication you can put in the tank?

Take out the zoas and dip them in revive. This will kill the adults. Look for eggs and try to remove them. Then after three days run a course of flatworm exit. Follow the instructions. This will kill the new nudis that hatch before they can lay eggs. Worked like a charm for me

Revive and CoralRx are both very good coral dips but neither will kill pest EGGS so it's still good to quarantine anything that's going into your tank if you can. But DEFINITELY you should be dipping your coral if you're not already doing so
