Hi all. I’m going to start a negative space aqua scape(NSA) soon. I saw the BRS videos for ideas. I wanted to see if the Gorilla glue max strength in clear is safe to use. Compared to the 10oz BRS glue, it’s a big difference in price. Thanks in advance.

Doesn’t seem like it have cyanoacrylate, which is the main ingredient in reef safe glue.

I wouldn’t risk it in the system

you could use silicone, but it has to be 100% silicone, what is used for the glass. I don't think it will provide the glueing properties you are looking for though.

My scape is held together with fine oolite sand and thin, quickset super glue. Messy, comes out like water but sets in seconds. It was a little more money but something you need to consider is the time it takes for the pieces to set. It set very fast and I tested a couple pieces glueing them together, building up a joint with multiple layers, then smacking them on the ground. They usually break at the rock and not the joint.
