Yeah I did, as in I paid for it and received it and it was awesome, but considering what I didn't pay I think the message behind what you're saying is pretty much exactly the mentality that's dragging this hobby down to new lows.
You don't actually need to spend a lot of money to get nice corals, we used to burn shops like that to the ground 10 years ago, but the problem is about that study they did where they gave people a $100 wine and told them it was $2, then a $2 bottle and told them it was $100, and they all just loved the pricey one and some couldn't even finish the "cheap" one.
We don't buy or sell corals anymore, we sell the idea of a coral through a fantastic picture and add a price that invites the imagination into the possibility of making money on the investment. It's the pop of the visual sense, a drive of needing to have something expensive and rare all made possible with an afterthought justification of the shamelessly unethical pricing. It's like being taken as rubes but a bunch of used car salesmen and thanking them for the privilege.
