Hello
Well I'm looking into dosing amino acids for my sps but was wondering

what the best amino acids to get at a affordable price?

Also your experience and which products are you using.

Also would like advice on dosing amino acids and what to do to get better results.

Thank you

I like Seachem Reef Plus amino for the price, I don't think it can be beat large jugs on sale on amazon now.

I'm about through a large bottle of acro power and really didn't notice a difference for the higher price tag. Once done I'm going to use Redsea's Reef Energy - A&B. I've used it before, but it also has a higher price tag and once opened needs to be refrigerated - I forgot about that part. So I'll most likely be going back to Reef Plus unless I see a notable difference in color/growth.

Start of with the recommended amount. From there just watch the balance of color & growth vs algae control.

I've been using acro power for sometime now and it I believe it helps the SPS grow. Before I was using Aquavitro Fuel but noticed on the label that it should be refrigerated after opening. I got lazy walking to the fridge for aminos so I switched to acro power.

I've used coral amino by bright well with great results. But the thing seems to evaporate fast. I would use 1-2 drops everyday and before I knew it it was gone! I thought about whether it evaporated or maybe it ran out. I noticed a lot of growth in my zoanthids.

Just started using AcroPower a couple months ago. Dosing a couple times a week typically the day before I feed. Seeing lots of PE on my LPS but SPS is hit or miss based on colony. The person who told me they liked it gets crazy PE on a lot of their SPS.

I too started to dose acro power several days ago. I do not noticed a difference but I don't expect to yet or maybe not ever. ;). So hard to quantify results. If you think it's working. It's working.

I was using red sea reef energy with great results, but heard of acropower been using it for almost 3 months now with crazy polyp extension on my sps. I will continue using either one is good for me. I've used aqua vitro fuel and Seachem Reef Plus amino, both did good. I dont think any brand of amino acids have any bad effects.

Just started using RedSea Reef Energy 2 days ago. Seams to be helping my system but it really to early to tell. I think once these bottles are done I'll be switching to AcroPower because I can set it up on a doser instead of having to keep 2 bottles in a fridge and manual dose.

AC works good for me to, set the my doser 20ml per day and enjoy the PE, nice coloration and decent growth on my corals.

I'm on my second bottle of AcroPower. It is a bit hard to qualify if the Acropower helps the polyp extensions or the KZ additives.

I've used Brightwell Coral Amino, Aquavitro fuel, and Continuum coral exponential. I think they all helped but in my opinion the continuum exponential had the best result and the coral at the time definitely seemed to color up while using it. It's been a while since running out of it but I need to pick it some more after my bottle of Brightwell is done.
