I'm so bad at getting around to doing things. I probably should have started this thread before I did my upgrade not 5 weeks later.

I had a 20R with a CPR HOB refugium.

It was doing okay until I had a water issue and nearly crashed the tank. I was so frustrated that I kept waffling on just starting over.
So, I decided to upgrade. I live in an older mobile home and didn't want to take the chance of the floor giving out so I only went with a 30L, had it drilled for 2 3/4" returns and a 1" drain.

[This is where I would have put a pic of just the tank if I would have actually taken one]

The first thing I did was build a stand. 46" tall x 48" long x 16" wide.

I had a spot already picked out too

My original plan was to use my 20R (24x12x16) as a sump but realized it wouldn't be accessible in my stand. So, I picked up a 20L for a $20 bill, picked up some glass and made a sump.

I transferred the water and the live rock, a 1 head Duncan, a Ricordia, and some zoas over to the new tank along with a true perc, a clown goby, and a 6 line wrasse, and added a potters Angel at the same time.

The stand still needs doors, I haven't figured out what I want to do yet.
So, here are the specs: 30L drilled, 20L sump, Nova Extreme 4xT5 HO 3 Blue+ & 1 Purple+, 2 Koralia Nano 425's, a Rio 2100 return (have a Quiet One 300, haven't hooked it up yet), Two Little Fishes 150 PhosBan reactor running 30g of PhosBan, and an AquaticLife mini-skim 115 skimmer.
About a week after set up I added a cherry charms frag, another true perc and an eibli angel. The goby didn't survive the transfer. He had stopped eating before the move and wasn't sure he was gonna make it anyway.
Last week, I added some more zoas (the majority of mine, again, didn't survive), some kind of lobo, and a pocillipora frag.
Last night, I added 4 heads of frogspawn, some gaxia, grandis palys, some kind of greenish chalice, and some random zoas. Also, threw in a homeless coral beauty. We'll see hoe it goes with 3 angels.
I think that's it for now. I'll add an updated FTS and some livestock pics soon.
