so i didnt do a thread when i had my 80 gal mixed reef tank and i didn't do one for my nano so here it is kinda late but have old picture to kind of show the process. is a jbj 28 deep sand bed. dont remember how many pounds of live rock so lets just say about 50. diy led's from rapid led. two maxijet 1200 for returns. koralia powerhead. 15 gal barrel for temporary sump. pictures to come shortly.

this is a replacement tank i got cuz i thought my previous nano might be leaking.

this is after i put everything back and re acclimated every one to reduce fatalities

this after water cleared, the bag there was to bring down any nitrates that might be there.

yes lights are dimmable, got the dimmer from rapidled also.

thats a nice set up ... how did you set up sump? isnt the 29 an AIO set up?

i have pvc coming from the left corner down to a 15 gal drum/sump and then have it return to the right side.

swap 2 neutral whites for 2 ultraviolets.
