brittle sea star should i keep it

Hey ian depends on the size of it and what else you are keeping in the tank with it. small fish, crabs, and shrimp may become food to it. Brittle stars are great scavengers.

Its kinda Yes and no, I have 2, in my sump!

Not sure but they either killed and ate several fish or the fish just died and they ate them. Not worth the risk, I think they caught them while alive, mine are very large about 8 inches from end to end

he is well behaved right now and the kids will be devastated when he's gone which will mean finding a suitable replacement! UGG but I recommend researching before you buy!

do not get a chocolate chip starfish they are not reef safe. Most starfish are hard to keep in aquaria. No thank you ian i tons of baby brittle's in my live rock

lol............thats why I have them in my sump, along with a chocolate chip. the kids will freak if they are gone. but I want them gone. oh well they dont bother anything.

mine will eat anything even pick up pellets......they are pretty hardy, one even got stung by a black urchin lost all its legs and they all gre back!

I don't particularly care for them. I noticed when I had one it seemed to have a shell of one sort or another in it grasp. can't afford to just feed it snails and hermits!
