I just added a brs gfo and rox carbon reactors, this is the first week on the reactors. I am seeing small areas of greenish color possibly algae clumping on the sandbed, was vodka dozing prior, did not dose vodka for 1 week till the gfo went online. Mostly sps dominant tank, little lps. Since the gfo/rox carbon went online, I have polyp ext. In some sps that never had before/ a good thing.
Has anyone gone thru this issue with your gfo reactors? On the first 1-2 week period? Possibly the lack of vodka/carbon has stopped,
I think couple water changes may do some good or is it just going thru a conversion phase?
