Does anyone know why my green star polyps won't open. I did the proper acclimation process when I bought them. I have them on the bottom of a 24g nano cube with pc lighting. Should I move it to the top of the tank, closer to the light itself? The bulbs are approximately 6 months old. All chemistry is at optimal levels. The star polyps were in a tank with t5 lighting, will that make a significant difference or a change to why they won't open opposed to having them in a tank with power compact lighting? Anyone know or can help it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, M Leezy

when did you get them? if you just put them in the tank, i would give them time. star polyps are incredibly hardy and easy to keep. and the more you mess around with them, the longer they'll take to open up. see how it goes for a few days, if they're still not opening up, then maybe try moving them up higher.
