How about just females? I bought a pair a while back and my $20 Solon Fairy killed the male. Female is fine. Maybe a couple more females and watch one change... [MENTION=492]All Delight[/MENTION] ?
I have a male flame along with a Kuiter leopard and also an Earl's and red velvet along with a few other fish in a 25g cube. A little cramped but they do ok.
About to drop in a female pintail and a candy basslet in there too once they are used to the prepared food in the sump.
I always use an acclimation box for as little as 1 day and as long as 1 week. And I don't have much problems when new fish are introduced. I've never had neither of those 2 fish so I can't speak from experience.
