This is a killer deal, I heard that a customer paid 400 for 1 at a LFS...then 200 for 2 more. This was a hook up price.

So no matter if it's 60-70, it's still a KILLER DEAL.

yeah, great deal guys. I've been watching them for a while, previously $300, before Xmas was tough to find under $150, jump on these prices.....$60 or $70 is a DEAL! :top: (wish my upgrade was ready :hmpf: hopefully there will still be some around when it is)

We've all bought expensive stuff that ended up being over-priced or died on us in a few short days/weeks/months. I've gone through so many rhomboid wrasses yet have not been able to keep any alive so at least you still have your fish. I got no fish and am out of a lot of money.

Don't be grumpy, the good thing is that you had it for a while, you must have bought them when the price was still high, they still doing good in your tank. Normally they don't last long. Also currently there are some pissing contest b/t some members and vendors that was the reason you see the drop in the price. They normally going for the low 125 to around 200.

Honestly my cost is way more than 60 or 70; so I am very tempting to jump on the GB deal.

Cheap does not always equal a good deal. Higher prices don't necessarily guaranty success.

Sounds like a crap shoot to me.

i posted a comment a while back saying prices on these were going to drop and no one responded...now what? :)
the industry is changing...i dont think u can pick up fish at the wholesaler and make a killing anymore...too many people know the cost and have access to wholesale prices...just look at the posts here for wholesale runs for instance...

Not to hijack the thread, but I love the wholesale runs threads...LOL my next idea/plan would be wholesale tours.

I will buy a small mini van, customers can meet up at my store at 7am, I will charge a flat fee and then take them to the wholesalers, they can buy whatever they want at wholesale cost, then at noon I would take them back to my store. Another tour start at 1pm....if large group show up, I will included lunch with the flat fee.

LMAO....I better patent copyright this idea...otherwise someone would going copy it.
