ok so when i started my tank i placed a small frag of GSP in the corner (stupidly) and now it has basically taken over a majority of the rock. is there anyway that you can remove it without killing everything else?

The bad thing about gsp's once they like your water is they grow really fast. In the future frag the coral to keep it to a reasonable size for your tank. You can frag off the gsp with a sharp razor blade by scrapping under them right to the rock . If you are not too worried about the rock they are on bust the rock into pieces and sell them as frags.

depending on how the GSP has set i have been able to just rip it off of the rock and it comes off really easily but, that just dpends on your water params and how the rock has set with it....
