I know its a long shot but anyone got Hanna checkers for sale...? Looking to build a "set" so... i'm looking for all of the "usual" ones. haha

including with shipping at the cheapest shipping rate of 13.55 total comes out to 63.34 so I would say 50.00 for the checker is a great deal

basic rule of thumb for asking a store to match online price is to include the shipping since that is part of the cost of receiving the item

I understand shipping. I never asked to match price. I was wondering what his price was and he wondered where I got those numbers from.

Usually, shipping and tax cancel each other out. There is also time and money for gas to drive to a retail location. With the hours I work, its often better to have it shipped.

I'm not really looking for new... I would prefer used and even better, a trade - hence my comment about it being a "long shot."

They have to.... someone pays. If you don't, they are giving you a discount by that amount and they cover the tax. Uncle Sam WILL take his cut.
