Hey guys! Wishing everyone a happy thanksgiving! Hope everyone and their reef tanks are healthy and thriving.
Quick question. Just got my 300g stand skinned at my office. Canopy or no canopy?

do you have customers in that area? if yes cover it to discourage touching and putting things in water.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in our tight little community.

The exposed lights look great over the tank Mike but personally once i added my canopy over my 8 footer, it just took it to another level of "so fresh and so clean" lol

With customers in there I think you'd be better off with some sort of canopy. I work with lights all day, you wont believe how sensitive some people are to them.

And happy thanksgiving everyone

This tank would look nice with a canopy, plus it will keep the light spill to a minimum.

Awesome tank!

That turned out amazing! Was it the same stand builder? It matches perfectly and definitely a conversation piece being in your office.

Thanks guys! It was built by a local carpenter/reefer here in SAn Diego. Dave did a great job! I will get some better pictures when I get back to the office.
