Harlequin shrimps

Pacific Reef in FV has two blue ones. They are in separate holding tanks so I would guess they are not mated pairs.

I just picked up one of those harlequins. Hopfully he does the trick.

Unfortunately my harlequin has no interest in the asterinas. It's only been a day, but I know it hasn't eaten in a week. So I threw in a chocolate chip star. He jumped on it right away. Would it be safe to say that the star will not get loose and eat my corals? I'm a little afraid to leave it in my tank when I'm at work tomorrow. Thanks

After he finishes off the cc star I fed him, anybody know how long I should starve him to see if he goes after the asterinas? I know you are supposed to feed them a star once a week, but I would like him to take care of my plague first. Thanks
