My p04 as .08 2 days ago and this is when I changed my GFO. I tested last night and they were .11 so I tested the effluent of the GFO reactor and it was .03..... I thought GFO was suppose to late weeks/months, I can't get it to last more than a few days.

I had such high p04 that maybe it leaked into the rock and it is slowly leaching it out, besides that it can't be my food because I feed pellets except for once a week when I do mysis.

Ya and now that I saw Esteban's comment about how Randy Holmes Farly thinks it doesn't make a significant difference rinsing or not in terms of the p04 introduced I won't be rinsing my food ever again. Ever. Yeah I said ever.

I think its your giant man made rock scape leaching the po4 but that is just a guess.

you running it through rodi to get the dust out or you running it through tap? or tank water?
I do it with tank water, should I use RODI?

Not sure how I would do that though, I have the inlet plumbed to my return pump so I wouldn't have a way to get RO water through the reactor.

Why do so many people have problems with phosphates? I have over 800+ gallons of reef and all mesure zero PO4. I use what public aquariums use LaCl3. Keep it simple, cheap and easy.
