Hello, my name is Eric, and it's been over 10 years since I've had a reef tank, and I'm finally able to have the space, time, and a bit saved up to get back into it and do what I've always wanted to do: have a larger tank that I can do a lot with. Before this, I mostly had smaller tanks. I started with a 20-gallon tank and right before I had to quit, I had a 75-gallon tank.

I recently had someone mention this forum for SoCal so I wanted to drop in and say hello from Cypress. I will start up a more in depth thread for my new tank soon, but the current situation is that I am waiting for the tank to be delivered (sometime next month, I hope) and have gotten most of the hardware for the tank and a water mixing/change station in the garage.

Here is a quick look at the design for what I am setting up. I'm so excited to be back at it and looking forward to seeing what you all have going on. It will be a 48L x 34W X 31H Waterbox viewable from 2 sides to divide the entryway and the living room.

Cool. I didn't know that Waterbox made custom tanks. That's a unique dimensions, can't wait to see what it looks like. Great depth. You will need some tongs at that height.

Yeah def a deeper one but excited to see what I can do with the scape and to get some good coral growth to fill it out long term.
