Hello from Santa Monica

Since the name of the site changed, I thought I'd introduce. Looks like the name of the site was changed to be more general and non-socal. So more folks will be joining from elsewhere?

Anyways, I've been reefing 3.5 years, and I'm still on my first tank (3rd version, however). My current interests are natural algae filtration, and continuous feeding (i.e., to keep non-photo corals alive). I can help folks who are trying to do either one of these. Also I'll post my algae info, which may be of interest. And since I'm in the LA area, folks can come see my setup at the office in Santa Monica if they want to.

Yes that a valuable test; it was where it was discovered that the dark tar/slime had to be removed immediately. Has saved hundreds of scrubber users from learning the hard way.

It's a 90, with 2 X 150w MH, and 100w actinic.
