Hi guys,

It's been a pleasure to sign up here. I was invited by Coral Diver ( thanks Jojo ) even though I'm miles a way from where your in.

Well, been to this addictive hobby for four years now. And here's a view of my tank from a fellow reefer.

Ciao.

Welcome!
Where from Pinas and how do you get your stuff?
Thanks .

I'm from Marikina City. Most of the frags are wild caught from the bordering island of Luzon, and some from Antique.
ohh, the fishes I have are from the exporter....

Your a Filipino ?

Thank you Sir.

Yeah, but you had to be careful as coral gathering and / or possession is prohibited by law here in the PI :afraid:

What? I could of been getting the pinoy discount from you this whole time on all the frags I bought...LOL!!!

Sup Vision!!!! My dad says Im not Filipino. I guess im Ilocano...LOL!! My dad just built his house in Tarlac. Guess, the only tank I can set up for him would have river snails & frogs in it. Pointless cuz my drunk uncle would probably end up eating whats in the tank. Went diving on some of the reefs there a yr ago. I would definitely be in jail after seeing all the stonies. I could only dream of what they would look like under my 20k.

As far as reef suppplies in PI, how hard is it to get? Expensive?

Not actually my island, as the Philippines consist of three major islands and my hometown is a part of the biggest one.

Here are pics of some of our travels.

Me, Wifey and son on a beach resort on Ligpo Point, Batangas.

Off to Ligpo Island

So much diversity down there

Another trip to Jomabo Island, Escalante City, Negross Occ

Getting there

Catch of the day ... LOL

A day after, 5:30am, low tide, with fellow reefer

We went back 8 months after we went there ( Jomabo Island ) Here at the western tip of the isle

Here we are snorkeling ( shopping :loldude:)

Enjoy

Thanks for the welcome Jojo :fisheye:

@ Wwodyz

Thank you. Will update more pics later.

@ phishmonkey

Re supplies, the minimum price I know is around Php50/Php80 ( 1 USD/ 1.5USD ) for some softies depending on the LFS. Same for LPS and SPS. SPS like tabling Acros goes around Php200 ( 4 USD ) up depending on the color and availability. Just make sure you have the right contacts for the right specimen you're looking for.

Or, some hobbyist and groups here refers giving some of their priced "pets". Just have to be patient though.
