3, just got a 27G Cube in the process of setting it up as a SPS reef. with maybe a pair of clowns...
4, 15+ years my last tank was 135gal Oceanic, 200lbs LR and 200lbs LS w/60gal sump/ref, 3-250watt MH 2X13k & 1X 20k, 330watts VHO Over the Tank, and 150watt VHO 10k over sump/ref, Dart Pump@3600gph for the returns, 1/3HP chiller, and 25Watt UV. ASM G-2 Skimmer all of which is sitting in my garage.
5, 15+ year wait wasn't that number 4? lol
6, ya i can always use another brain, so my tank is 20x18x20 i am going to be moving about 800gph thru the 2, 3/4" returns, 150watt MH 13k pendant, 20G sump/Refg, 4" filter sock, LED light over sump, AquaEuroUSA Protein Skimmer 135, 300watt heater, going with a fan over my sump to keep the temp in check i have my 1/3hp chiller if i need it... Going to order the glass-holes 1500 gph Overlfow Box and drill the tank myself i will also be drilling the 2, 3/4" returns. i have dead rock from my 135G which i am soaking now in RO water and i have 40lbs Ocean Direct Caribbean live sand Oolite, i will be mixing my own salt water using H2ocean. Ok so what am i forgetting? does this sound about right for a sps tank? am i going over board with the flow? i dont want any power heads in my tank needs to look clean so all my flow will come from my returns. my goal is to have no wires or anything coming out of the top of my tank as it will have No canopy so needs to look clean.. i will buy some live rock even if just use it in my sump/refg to help seed my dead rock. Also should i go Led's over my tank instead of MH? i really like the shimmer of the MH and im just not sure i know the Led's last forever and very little heat and uses less power with all that said i went out and bought a Giesemann Pendant but i can always sell it and go Led if its worth it... Thanks to all in advance. IMG_0854.jpg IMG_0855.jpg IMG_0856.jpg IMG_0911.jpg IMG_0912.jpg

Try using plasti dip on the conduit. It will look smoother and better than spray paint. It comes in a can just like spray paint, but it's thicker then normal paint so it looks a lot cleaner IMO

lol well S*!%, i was gonna paint it with the same Krylon paint im gonna use for the back of my tank... i have seen that plasti dip i agree does look better but i myself have never tried it i have always just used spray paint with good results, so i will stick to what i know for now. today is my paint day need to bust out the stand and conduit and my tank hoping to have it filled sometime this weekend.

Question: my 1500gph overflow has 2- 1 1/2in drains was wondering if i can reduce these to 1in drains as there are 2 and i think i can fit 1in drains lines better than 1 1/2in drain lines it will be all PVC at least my drains will my returns might be 3/4in ID black tubing dont want to hard plumb my returns yet as i dont know if im gonna change anything on the return side depends if i get the flow im looking for or not. thanks again everyone!

Whichever paint you use make sure you scuff up the conduit or whatever you paint with sandpaper so that the paint has something to bite into and wont flake/peel as easy.
