Hello everyone from SOCALI. This is Jim Newman, now with Titan Corals. Have been in the retail and wholesale part of the industry a little over 29 years, having grown up in the exotic animal import and export industry from my father. Have been involved in field research for the effects on tropical reefs due to deforestation and agriculture, as well as research in the Amazon for the Candiru catfish, Piranhas, the larger predatory catfish, and freshwater stingrays. As I have been involved with the industry all of my life, I have of course kept many tanks varying from 10 gallons up to 500 gallons at home. Of course working in a wholesale environment, I work with thousands of gallons. Thousands of fish, invertebrates, and corals on a daily basis. Specialties are system design, maintenance, medications for treatments for fish or for invertebrates.
