Hi my name is Jayson, owner of Ellis Aquatics. We finally made the jump to sponsorship and thought we would give you a brief bio on us now that we are part of the SCR family of great businesses.
Ellis Aquatics was created out of necessity in March of 2012. We felt there was a lack of honest, hard working, and quality one stop shops for your aquarium needs.
So Ellis Aquatics was opened to give the hobbyist a one stop place to buy EVERYTHING at an extreme discount, with an honest approach to sales, and business relationships.
In less than nine months, Ellis Aquatics expanded from two 20 gallon live rock curing tanks and no inventory on hand, to a Quality Garage Shop. Consisting of 200+/- pieces of coral, 100s of Inverts, several types of fish in stock and endless available for order, 100s of in-stock items with endless available for order, and 300-500 pounds of live rock always available.
Ellis Aquatics grew at a fast rate, but we always remember why we started this, and that is to help build the this hobby by keeping prices low, and quality high, along with a solid dose of honesty.
Today we now have nearly 1000 pieces of coral on hand at any time, around 50+/- fish, 1000s of inverts, nearly 1000lbs of LR, 200+ different products in stock, nearly 540 gallons of water on hand (for sales), and take special orders on everything else.
