Ok, so heres the deal...I recently acquired a new tank from someone getting out of the hobby and got all his corals and fish as well. Everything was in buckets for approx. an hour and a half during transport. I moved everything out of buckets and into my existing tank, but the next day moved everything into the tank they were originally in once I had it set up ( so back in the buckets they went for another hour and a half since i needed the rocks and tried to use the same water).

Heres my params:
SALINITY: 1.025
PH: 8.0

API TEST KIT SHOWS:
CAL = 380
ALK = 9 DKH

RED SEA TEST KIT SHOWS:
CAL = 450-470
ALK = 7.6 DKH
MG = 1280 PPM

NOT SURE WHICH TO BELIEVE BUT IM THINKING RED SEA SINCE ALL OF MY CORALS ARE LOOKING GOOD FOR THE PAST WEEK NOW EXCEPT FOR ANEMONE. I realize there was alot of stress put on them during all the moving, but I really dont want him dying and killing off the rest of my life. Please check out pics , tell me what you think and any advice is greatly appreciated!

Seems your still safe. The tentacles are still bubbly and full.

Yeah if your levels are good, it might have just been the stress of moving it.

With a tank move I'd suggest testing ammonia and nitrite too. There will inevitably be some die-off from the move (like sponges exposed to air). I'm not saying it's enough to start a cycle but it could be and at least then you can eliminate the possibility. If it is you do a water change and/or add bacteria and done.

Update: when I got this anemone he looked very white and it was confusing because the previous owner told me he was a green tip, I asked him "really? Why does he look all white ?" (He was even whiter than in previous post) To which he had no response. Well here he is now..

Looking much more colorful and green really pops with actinids now! Very happy to say the least.

Update...yes again. My GBTA has moved to a place that gets no light and has stayed there for a week and a half now and he is not looking good.
IMG_0519.jpg
Params:
Ammonia - 0
Nitrate - 0
Calcium - 440
Alk - 8.2
Ph - 8.2
Salinity - 1.025
temp - 79.f

Its mouth seems open in the picture and its tentacles have been retracted for almost a week as well. . Im at a loss, everyother coral seems happy and healthy, even my RBTA seems fine. Also the shrimp seems to be hanging around him, think he knows its a goner and is waiting for his meal? is there anything as far as shrimp or fish that will eat a healthy anemone?

livestock includes:
percula pair
hoevns wrasse
yellow watchman goby and pistol shrimp pair
mandarin dragonet
skunk cleaner shrimp
Pepermint Shrimp
couple turbo snails and hermit crabs

Any thoughts?

Did you replace all the lamps at once? Next time just do a couple at a time... they lose par as they get older so new bulbs equals brighter light so that's probably what pissed the nem off. Also better for corals as to not shock those or bleach them.

If you do a few bulbs at a time, how long do you wait when swapping new ones in? 1 a week? 2 every 2 weeks, etc?
