I could be wrong but it looks as though he's getting blasted directly with flow...try moving it to another spot where he can settle in.

ah i see....well most nems imo will move until they find their "sweet" spot...of course not to be confused with lowbudget's "g spot"

That's the thing he hasn't moved at all! That's why I wasn't worried bout the current cuz I though if he was mad he'd move. What about that green color he shriveled up to?

Ok well that response doesn't sound like he's gunna die tomorrow so turning that color (it's mainly after attempting to feed him) isn't necessarily bad..? I wanted that angle to see his foot too. Could u verify what kind of anemone he is? My LFS actually told me he wasn't exactly an anemone that it just looked like them...idk what that means...

Looks like a Carribean Condilactus (sp?) Anemone If so, a ton of feeding isn't really necessary. I agree with Tangwich that he is probably adjusting to your params and lighting.

Do you think his mouth is open based on the 1st pic?
Hard to tell. Condis are a bit odd. I have seen them turn themselves inside out from the mouth. 1st thing I would do in your case is to check water params. Anemones can be very sensitive to iffy or poor water quality. Check nitrates for sure besides ammonia and nitrite.
Inferring from your earlier posts, it seems that your tank is relatively new. If so, water quality fluctuations can cause havoc with some of the more sensitive inverts like anemones.

Thank you for the advice guys!
I set the tank up in November. I have had higher nitrate I've been battling. I've researched so much about it but I may have to resort the the sugar theory. I have had some casualties in the tank but I also have some that have hung in there since Jan so far.

Haha well I don't have clowns yet to even try. My 6 lined wrasse has been loving him. Or hating him.
I have seen many posts in regards to the clown hosts and a lot of them do. But there's so many different stories I don't think I'll take that one to heart till I see it hehe

Something to consider when figuring out whether an Anemone will host a clown is geographical location. An anemone like the Condi comes from the Carribean. There aren't any clown fish species in the Carribean. Now some damsels will host in an anemone when very young, but will eventually abandon the nem as they get older.
Your statement that you have been battling high nitrates is IMO the culprit with your new friends shrinkage. Don't do anything drastic, but try to get a grip on the nitrate situation sooner than later. All your inhabitants, ESPECIALLY any inverts will thank you for it.

Yea I really didn't want to mention it at first afraid that everyone would just assume that's what's wrong instead of giving me straight knowledgeable answer. It's tough to take anything to heart until I see for myself. While I've come out with my nitrate issue, please be easy on me, all of my rock and sand was transported from the ocean... other than yelling at me hehe I've been looking for someone with first hand experience to tell me how bad it is ;/
