OK. So I am getting closer to ordering a new tank. I originally wanted a peninsula, but that won't work for the room its being required to go in (thank you wifey). That being said, I am looking to get a tank somewhere close to these dimensions.
72 L x 36 W x 24 T which is about 270 gallons. It will have a external ghost overflow or something similar. Bean Animal style.
The plan is to get an AGE with steel perimeter bracing top and bottom, PVC bottom, acrylic splash guard, and drilled for the overflow.
How would you light the new tank?
What would you change?
If you have a similarly sized tank with a large bioload, which skimmer would you choose?
Any suggestions?
