so i have a JBJ artica nano chiller Model # DBI-038 without the added digital display. and yesterday i found my chiller with the alarm light on and the temperature had dropped to 68 degrees so without knowing what else to do i unplugged it. well today i thought I'd give it another go and i plugged it back in and the alarm light was off so i let it do its thing and came in later to find it came back on again and the temperature had dropped below where it was suppose to be again. well what do i do??? it will probably be OK today without a chiller but in the next few days i need to come up with a solution all beneficial advice is appreciated. thanks.

could be your controller there is an upgrade for that.

Sounds like a bad thermostat to me. If you can find a replacement part or better yet go with Coral Divers upgrade thread. Both should fix the problem. Looks like MarineDepot has discontinued this model chiller but maybe they know where to get the original part.
