Any recommendations for live sand??? I'm planning on keeping mostly sps corals. Tank dimensions are 96x36x24. Two MP60's and two MP40's for flow. Thanks in advance guys.

with that much flow i wouldnt go sugar fine sand. i would go go with one size larger so it doesnt get moved around. Also i would have a deep sand bed. it doesnt have to be crazy deep but like 2 and a half would be great. but wait to see what other ppl have to say about the DSB.,

If I do go DSB can I put finer sand on the bottom? Reason I'm asking is because I have about 200# from my old tank that I'd like to keep, problem was flow would make dunes everywhere.

you can have remote DSB, meaning you can have deep sand bed in the sump and use whatever you want on your main display tank.

I think most SPS tank setups usually go bare bottom just because of the sand storm issue. You can do heavier sand in the DT for looks but doing a DSB might be risky if you're looking to crank up the flow. Especially if you get fish that like to dig around. Doesn't hurt to try since you already have the sand. Worse case is you have to syphon some sand out during a water change if it doesn't work out to your liking. Otherwise get a fuge going and put the DSB with fine sand in there and use large diam sand or crush coral in the DT.
