HELP WITH PHOSPHATE or gfo

I am adding a reactor to my tank but what is the media media to use that actually works , Ive already tired rowa phos and bio pellets but they did not work out for

looking for something that actually works

Rowaphos is the best product at removing phosphates IMO. It will bring out more phosphates pound for pound than your average GFO. Atleast this has been my experience. If you want to go another route you could get a liquid to dose like phosphate E by britewell.

I had a huge gha problem. A month of dosing Viniger and running gfo. Had gotten me back in control

The best thing is test your po4 before the reactor and test from the reactor output. If you are getting zero from your reactor output then your set.

I feel high cap gfo from BRS is a great product to use , between eco phos rowa phos and high cap gfo I found all to work very similar its just that the rowa pohos cost a bit more I believe, also the reg gfo from brs works really well , and for testing I found that the red sea l.r. P04 test kit works well and the hanna checker works well but you must account for that a reading under .02 for the hanna checker you will need to use the ultra low range reagent to ensure accuracy . but this is my experience and have tested a few of these products against each other when I worked @ AOA

Rowa works the best and lowers po4 very quickly. With corals quickly is not a good. Also pulls po4 down very low. Hth
