I researched the whole calcium reactor regulator thing for a couple months about a year ago and found out that the planted tank guys really know there Co2 regulators. So I bought ones from a guy who builds them in Pennsylvania or something…
Anyway, I have a Scott Specialty Gasses Dual Stage Regulator with a Messer regulator in stainless steel.. Thats a rare German made one that is left handed.
This is not your $100 regulator you get from marine depot. This is super high end and not sensitive to the touch. You can turn this adjustment knob to regulate the Co2 very precisely.
If you have a regulator you know what I mean. The adjustment on this can fine tune any Co2 to be as precise as you want with the air bubbles. I went through 3 brand new $125 regulators that would go from one bubble a second to 20 with a tiny touch of the regulator..this one is not like that. You can fine tune and will never need another one.
With the best products, comes a price that's not cheap…. PM me with questions.

$275 for this bad boy. If you know regulators then you'll know why this one is $275.

How do u adjust this regulator?
I've been running a cheap regulator for 2+ years with no problems, other then it being a BI*CH to adjust. Is this one supposed to be better then the planted tank regulator?

On the 3rd picture there is a knob with two holes, that's the adjustment Knob for the co2.
I went through 3 of the cheap regulators before I got this. The other regulators were not dependable for me because they would start expelling more or less co2 than what I set it at after a few days and trying to adjust it back took forever. Once I set this I didn't have to touch it again for months. .

That's definitely a quality regulator. Those stainless steel parts are expensive and high end need valves cost at least $100.
