This week we're giving away a nice Favia Collector's Pack. All you have to do is "like" or leave a comment on this Facebook photo for your chance to win.

DESCRIPTION
Starting from the top, we have the acclaimed War Coral. Next is a Pink and Purple Pillow, a past Tyree Limited-Edition that has such great color we couldn't resist sharing it with SoCaliReefs members. The 4-color coral on the left is Justin Credabel's Malibu Favia. All 3 corals are 100% tank-raised and should thrive in just about anyone's mixed reef aquarium.

ELIGIBILITY
You must be a U.S. resident 18-years-old or older to win. We'll ship the Favia Collector's Pack using overnight delivery service within the United States only. We'll arrange the exact delivery date with the winner. One (1) winner will be randomly selected this Friday, December 7, 2012 at noon PST.

Here is a transcript from the marketing meeting:

Marketing Person: "What do you think about giving away some corals this week?"

Manager Person: "How?"

Marketing Person: "Um, on Facebook?"

Manager Person: "Does that cost money?"

Marketing Person: "No, it's free."

Manager Person: "Approved!"

Truthfully, we hear where you're coming from. Many times in the past the way we've had folks enter a giveaway is by signing up for our email newsletter. Normally, in those instances, we'll setup a nice landing page for the promotion. Of course, it's the holiday season, so most of our design and marketing resources are busy working on other campaigns. We're a small team, so posting the giveaway on Facebook was the quickest and easiest way to get it out there ... the path of least resistance, you might say.

Next year we'll be sure to provide some other ways to enter stuff so you don't have to sign into your Facebook account if you don't want to. :nod:

First we'll see if you are in our customer database and try contacting you via email. If that doesn't work, we may message you through Facebook using our "friend" account since you can't message individuals on Facebook as a business (probably to protect folks from spam). If neither of those options work, we may try and see if you list your email address on your Facebook page. If all of those fail, we'll just announce the winner on our Facebook page and give you 14 days to claim your prize. If you don't claim the coral pack within that time, we'll choose an alternative winner.
