Between the wife and I wanting it cooler, and not letting it get too hot for the bird, the Poison Dart Frog, the Seahorses, the guinea pigs, the cats etc...we use the AC.... The water temp doesn't get above 82 and I'm ok with that...
sounds like my house minus the frog, seahors, and cats LOL

I buried a 165g water tank in the backyard and circulate water from that tank into my sump. The water in the buried tank stays at 68 - 70 degrees. It also adds 165g of water volume to my system bringing the overall total to approx. 550g.
