Just got a BTA, it's wicked sweet. However it has lodged itself under a pretty remote shelf. I was wondering if there is any way of coaxing it towards a new location. I absolutely dont want to hurt it in any way. Something tells I probably need to let nature run its course in my artificial environment. Thanks for any and all help.

if you just added the anemone to the tank, you wanna get it used to things first before messing with it. they tend to hide out a little at first until they become more comfortable and then they'll move around and find a more specific spot.

good news, bad news. the good news is that it seems to have finally settled in an ideal position on its own. bad news, today it closed up very significantly and oozed some black junk, for lack of a better word. any ideas?

If you want your BTA to grow fast and split feed him/her once a week. He/she will close up to digest the food. I have to watch mine after feeding because I have peppermint shrimp and skunk cleaner shrimp that think my rose bubble tip is the easiest place for them to feed, so I have to chase them away or they will steal the food from my RBTA. They also need lots of Light. If they do not get enough light they will shrink and bleach out. Mine has not been getting enough light lately and I am experimenting with some LED spot lighting.
