The bubbles that your referring too is a healthy sand bed. Its normal to see tons of lil bubbles under your sandbed. I believe its air that has been trapped and turned into nitrogen. Don't stir it your sand bed all up at once since the nitrogen bubbles can have a bad effect to your tank, its best to let a sand sifter do it slowly if you don't like seeing it.

Their is nothing wrong with having them remain under your sand. I don't have any sand sifters in my tank.

:hmmmm: So you got out of the hobby because you had some "bubble like things" at the bottom of your tank and it bothered you so much that it made you quit??? Are you serious?? Wow. LOL!!! I've heard people quitting for other reasons but to bounce out because of some bubbles is definitely a first. hahaha!! It was probably something minor that could have been fixed but who knows now since you packed up and jumped ship! To each his own for sure. Good luck to you!

"Dust yourself off and try again...!!!!" hahahahaha jk! Sorry I thought about that Aaliyah song right now thinking of you!! lol!!
