I use the sicce utility pump. Awesome to clean out sump

If you are no longer using it maybe, otherwise vacuuming detritus is all you would do

Yes still use
Planning on pulling the skimmer and return pump to clean and in the process vacuum the sump

for me Citric acid works better then vinegar.

I like citric acid for pumps. I’m pretty sure that’s all the sicce stuff is.
I buy mine on Amazon and it lasts me a good while.

Easiest way is to turn off pumps and use a wet shop vacuum. More difficult is to use an external pump (likely needs priming) connected to some flexible tubing.

When I built my system, I built in a return loop. Shutof supply to tank, and return to filter sock. Stir up detritus and allow to flow through sump back to filter socks.
