Are Power Bricks of all these big equipment suppose to be very hot or can we touch them?

I'm thinking of just putting all the bricks into this plastic cart, and have the cart behind my tank. I don't think I have enough room under the stand to house all of these power bricks. I think there is at least 10 of these bricks.

Do you guys think the brick will get hot enough to melt this cart? Or is it safer to just use something made of wood?

How many power bricks?
I would be worried about them heating up to the point of causing them to fail sooner then expected. Excessive heat can cause damage to electronics.

I personally installed a fan in the cabinet where all my power bricks are. For 2 reasons, one for heat exchange and two incase one decides to melt or burn up the fan will pull the smell out and give me some type of detection that something is not going, right!

They can get hot, especially if they're next to each other. I had a 3D printed rack that held 3 bricks with spaces and they melted/warped the rack. I would use individual mounts that "lift" them from whatever you're mounting them to, which will allow air to flow and keep them cool. These were bricks for LED's that were running near 100% for 8hrs.
I'm with Eric, I'll be using some Noctua fans to keep my ballasts and bricks cool when they're on.

Shouldn’t melt, however like everyone said good airflow is always a good idea, especially if you have that many bricks in close proximity.
